Rascal Grafik was created in 2006, because we realized that no one else had come to manufacture great quality tank pads with a one of a kind design, and perfect shape as well as easy installation on ANY recent bike. Then began Rascal Grafik....
The first step in developing a new tank pad design is to determine the needs and likes of the riders along with there bikes. We first prepare sketches or layouts by hand working directly on the bike to have the best point of view of the product ''installed''. Then we select colors, shapes, style and other visual elements from the bike that can be integrated in the tank pad art-work.
Designers select the size and arrangement from the different elements of the bike. They may also include graphs and charts from prior designs, then consult with copywriters on any texts or logos that may accompany the visual part of the product.
Graphic designers use a variety of graphics and layout computer software to assist in their designs. The software programs allow flexibility in exploring a greater number of design alternatives, even retouched pictures of bike elements are used and included in the tank pads.
Designers then present the completed design to the ''table'' which is formed with internal staff on different departments, each ''view'' is taken concerning colors, lines, shapes, logos....Then modifications are done until approval is met, we then manufacture few samples and show/install them in local dealer showrooms to get there feedback. We are looking to get outside opinions because we think it is the better way to improve our product designs....last approval done we can finally go in productions. |
