Special Offer For Newsletter Readers
by Jesper Lowgren
At BGW we want to add
extra value to our customers and newsletter subscribers through exclusive offers.
For the month of March we will continue our reduction on apparel and helping you
getting ready for cooler times. This is in part due to the lowering of Government
Import Duties, as well as our increasing buying power. We have decided to pass
all these savings on to you! This month we will offer the Joe
Rocket Sonic 2.0 and Blaster
4.0 Jackets (all current models) for $299
with Free Shipping! These
used to retail at dealers for $699 and $599. And for women we have reduced the
Aura
jacket to $299 also with Free
Shipping! This jacket originally retailed at dealers for $699. Just
like the Speedmaster we offered for $399 last month, both the Sonic, Blaster and
Aura jackets come with the same build quality you would expect from one of Canada's
and USA's top apparel brands. Use the promotion code (Subscribe
to get the codes below) in the checkout to take advantage of these
offers! We may advertise
this offer at a later stage to the public, but as usual we want to give our customers
and subscribers the first bite of the cherry. Currently most colours and sizes
are in stock. With Free Shipping!
Joe
Rocket signs Melissa Paris for 2010
Joe
Rocket is proud to announce the recent signing of MPH Racing/Yamaha pilot Melissa
Paris. Melissa is the highest placing woman in the Daytona 200 (March 09)
and the only woman ever to qualify for a World Supersport race (Utah 09).
An inspiration for all women riders, Melissa... is a natural fit with Joe Rocket
and we look forward to an exciting and competitive season starting at Daytona
this week!

Performance Braking makes a variety of Brake Pad compounds. If you have ever wondered
whether a pad compound makes a difference, or if there is a compound that matches
the type of riding you do, this is the place to find out. G1054
The
1054 compound is the work horse of our brake pad family. It offers progressive
feel and feedback and is GG rated which makes it a great street brake pad. This
compound is available in front and rear calipers. Use this compound if you commute
to work, ride light trails or woods or "just need some brake pads".
Applications range from street, ATV, dirt bike and cruisers. This compound is
so versatile, many Karts use it as a race compound! G1370
This
compound is the G1375 compound on a diet. It has all the great features of the
G1375 compound with the exception of the ceramic coated backing plate. Looking
for that perfect brake pad to do those canyon runs? This is it! Very easy on the
discs and great heat recovery. This compound is available for most Supersport
and Superbike from calipers (600cc - 1000cc) G1375
Our
1375 compound is the result of many long days at the race track and on the brake
dyno. Based on Advanced Ceramics, this compound is meant for the track. It offers
very fast heat recovery for more consistent braking which in turn, gives the rider
more "feel". This is the pad of choice for most racers at the top of
club levels and AMA contenders. These pads are very easy on rotors since they
do not have the same levels of metallics in them like many OEM and aftermarket
brands. The 1375 compound also features a ceramic coated back plate which helps
to dissipate heat away from the brake pad and reduces the amount of heat transferred
into the caliper pistons. This gives you a cooler running system that will be
able to withstand more heating cycles and deliver consistent braking. Available
for front calipers Supersport and Superbike applications (600cc - 1000cc) G1371 | Our

Mladin, Ben Spies, Tommy Hayden, Ruben Xaus, Doug Chandler.... Recognize these
names? Know what they all have in common? Galfer G1003 Brake pads. Introduced
to the general rider 2 years ago, this compound remained an exclusive item for
our top race teams. Now, you can have the same compound that wins championships
and helps to make these riders legends. The G1003 compound features a laser cut
backing plate for EXACT fitment and limited stress to the material. This differs
from anyone else because most backing plates are stamped. Laser cutting allows
for higher consistency which makes the difference. Our backing plates are then
heat treated and double disc ground just like our rotors, making them perfectly
flat. This helps by almost eliminating plate warpage and allows the pad compound
to remain in better contact with the disc. This proven compound can reach friction
levels as high as .72u!!! Very progressive and work better the hotter they get.
Available for most modern OEM 600/750/1000 machines and Brembo Calipers. Not recommended
for street use or for a bike under 600cc. "...more
bite and consistency than anything I've tried." - 3-time AMA Superbike Champion,
Doug Chandler
"...
I must say that this is the first time in five years we have used any braking
product...better than the PFC and Brembo. On another note, from the confidence
gained at this test, I will now be stocking your products in our retail showroom..."
