Summers
Coming... Jacket Or No Jacket Just Isn't An Option! A Word from Mat. A
motorcycle jacket is close to #1 in your safety arsenal. If you take a spill anywhere
its going to protect you in mission critical areas at the worst of times which
is when you really need it. Now
that it is getting warmer a lot of people think its time to compromise on their
safety gear basics which may seem like a good idea at the time and statistically
things aren't likely to happen. All things considered do you want to roll the
dice when it comes to your chances to ride again? I certainly don't! From
my experience wearing racing gear in the heat of summer means that its got to
be good purpose built gear that breathes right, is flexible, has armor in all
the right places and comfortable. It can only add to my riding experience. If
it's not made right you don't want to be in a position of knowing that at time
where quick decisions have to be made. Being
comfortable at a correct body temperature even on very hot days is critical for
alertness and concentration. Dehydration happens when your gear doesn't breathe
right means a loss of reflexes and awareness. Good strong material and body armor
lessen the damage from falls or impact. Wearing
the right motorcycle gear when you get on any time is just smart... and in hot
weather its got to be cool enough so you don't compromise for a second. This
is why I wear and sell Joe Rocket and Tourmaster gear. Its simply the best I could
find and we have a good range of it at Bike Gear Warehouse. This gear not only
fits all the right parameters for excellent safety it looks cool too. For
the men I would recommend you look at the Joe
Rocket UFO Textile Jackets, Joe
Rocket Phoenix 5.0 Textile Mesh Jackets and Cortech
Men's GX-Air 2 Textile Jacket. For
the ladies I would suggest looking at the Joe
Rocket Cleo 2.0 Mesh Jacket. Wearing
the right gear every time you ride means you will always be able to ride again. My
